BOB RECIPE: Chili-Cheese Mashed Potatoes

Just when you remembered you need to have mashed potatoes in the dinnertable and boiling potatoes, then peeling, then mashing is not something you like to do on a relaxing day…there is a solution, try stocking up on instant mashed potato flakes. Surprise your loved ones with this chili flavored mashed potatoes.

 

BOB RECIPE: Chili-Cheese Mashed Potatoes

2 3/4 cups water

1 cup milk

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 tablespoon butter or margarine

3 garlic cloves, minced

3 cups Valley View Instant Mashed Potato flakes

2 (4 oz) cans chopped green chillies

1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese or cheddar cheese

In a large saucepan, bring the water, milk and salt to boil. Add the butter, garlic, potato flakes and chillies; stir until thickened. Sprinkle with cheese.
